Le village : The village: St. Paul de Fenouillet, a village close to the Mediterranean (50 km) surrounded by vineyards of the “Côtes de Roussillon”.
In Saint-Paul, a visit is imposing on the monument "Chapitre" with its pinnacle of the XVII century which overhangs its vault, the most important building of the village and Historic classified.
The Clock tower, very beautiful and heptagonal, unique in Languedoc-Roussillon, gives a beautiful panoramic sight of the village.
Two rivers runs peaceful between the mounts of Corbières and the peaks of the Pyrenees: Agly and Boulzane.
We are on the road of the three most important castles of Cathar history: Peyrepertuse, Quéribus and Puylaurens.
Long time a go a small thermal spa was in exploitation. The virtues of water are still currently appreciated by the inhabitants. The water of the sources leaves to 18°C constant and looks after the lesions of the skin (healing).
The vine growing is the principal occupation of this micro - area.
The perfume of the “garrigue” (thyme and rosemary) is best appreciated in spring. The garrigue occupies the slopes of the hills to the limestone’s rock peaks.
